Did you know that the Tabor House was built in 1870 & at one time the Tabor Farm included the property where the courthouse now sits? That this home boarded young men during the week so that they could be educated by the school that at one time stood at the foot of the cemetery hill? Want to find out more of the history of this beautiful community???? Then come see us at the Tabor House & Civil War Museum. We are open this summer Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 10:00am - 1:30pm. FREE ADMISSION!

A big Thank You goes out to Mr. and Mrs. William Davis for visiting the museum this past Saturday . Staff Srgnt William Davis served our country proudly in World War II & Korea. He served 10 years in the Army & 10 in the Air Force as well as an additional 20 years in Civil Service. We look forward to seeing this beautiful couple in the Veteran's Day Parade this year!
